How To Be Romantic With Your Girlfriend

Do you need a refresher course on how to be romantic with your girlfriend? Well, then, listen up. I know that in the beginning of the relationship everything seemed to come so easily. Everything was candlelight and roses and you could do no wrong in her eyes.

How did it all change so quickly? You do not have a clue do you? Well, somewhere along the line the romance stopped and life got in the way. The candlelight turned into a 100 watt bulb in the ceiling and the roses shriveled up and died.

Now, if you should happen to remember to send her flowers, she is going to think you have some ulterior motive or you have done something you need to apologize for. I know you do not believe that but trust me, I am right. This bouquet of flowers will not help you one teensy tiny little bit. She will be too suspicious to take them for what they were intended, a romantic gesture.

If you do not want her to be suspicious, take this how to be romantic with your girlfriend advice to heart. If you want to send her flowers do not send them to her work place, especially if she works with a lot of other women. The others will plant the seed of doubt and she will probably be angry with you by the time she gets home.

So, have them waiting on the table for her along with the nice little dinner you prepared, or if you can't cook, at least bought with her in mind. Turn off that 100 watt bulb in the ceiling, light those candles again, have romantic music playing softly in the background and a nice bottle of wine opened and breathing.

Treat her like a queen when she gets home. Kiss her ever so softly on the lips to greet her then, take her coat and briefcase and put them away for her. Sit her in a chair and remove her shoes, giving each one of her feet a little rubdown with the promise of more later. Tell her to go get freshened up and have the new lingerie you bought her hanging in the bathroom for her to put on.

When she is ready, pull her chair out for her at the table and serve her dinner. Make conversation by asking how her day was, and listen as she tells you all about it. Even if you do not understand what she is talking about. Always listen. Make eye contact and touch her hand or arm during dinner. Tell her how beautiful you think she is and always will be in your eyes.

After dinner lead her to the sofa, bringing along the rest of the bottle of wine and glasses to the living room and fulfill the promise of a complete foot rub, including toes, ankles, and calves. She will undoubtedly be putty in your hands at this point and only now can you relax a little and be confident that you know how to be romantic with your girlfriend.

Interracial Dating - Can Be Different

Today interracial dating is not as uncommon, or taboo, as it once was. That doesn't mean though there aren't still challenges associated with dating someone of another race. To a large degree the number and depth of the challenges you'll face will depend on the races involved. There tends to be more resistance to some pairings than to others. It's also easy to have problems within an interracial relationship but the good news is that is something you can control.

Resistance to interracial couples does fall squarely across age lines, people over 50 tend to be more resistant to it than younger generations. That just makes sense since most older people were raised in a world where it was wrong to date outside of your race, and (fortunately) today that is no longer such an issue so the younger generations don't see what all the fuss is about.

To make things work you have to have some understanding of, and consideration for, your partner's cultural beliefs.  It's quite likely that the two of you were raised in very different cultures and this can create clashes if you aren't both very careful.

Before you get too deeply involved it's a very good idea to have some idea of what your partners beliefs are.  This will keep you from being blindsided by something unexpected. It's also a great way for the two of you to bond, by comparing and contrasting your own cultural beliefs. Sometimes it will just be a case of agreeing to disagree. I mean, you'll likely have that in other areas of your relationship, why should this be any different?

You also have to be aware that you might get some grief from family and friends. No matter how open minded you might be about someone else's cultural beliefs that doesn't mean that all your family and friends share your open mindedness. It's important that you and your partner always present a united front to these naysayers.  Make sure that you don't give them an opening to use to drive a wedge between the two of you.

It's also a good idea to try to educate them. Very often they simply are challenged by something new and unfamiliar to them. Sometimes it can be overcome by simply talking openly and honestly.  Letting them get to know your partner will help too. In time they may find that they like your partner so much that they've forgotten their earlier concerns.

It's also important that the two of you have friends and family that understand and are supportive. While the two of you will want to have each other's back the whole 'it's you and me against the world' thing can get pretty old. Try to encourage friendships with those that can help the two of you weather the storm.  Sometimes just having a friendly shoulder to lean on can help a lot.

All dating relationships can have their challenges and while it's true that interracial dating may have some extra challenges thrown in, you should never let that dissuade you from going for it. You don't want to pass up the love of your life just because they are of a different race. What a waste that would be!

Beautiful Chinese Women - East Meets West Dating

If you are attracted to exotic foreign woman and would like to meet and date beautiful Chinese women than you're in luck. The internet offers many opportunities to meet woman from China and develop a relationship with them.  If you wanted to meet Chinese women twenty years ago you would have either been out of luck or you would have needed very deep pockets since you would have to travel to China and hope you meet someone while there.

Today there are many international dating sites online and some of them are even free to try out.  Given the many differences culturally between east and west it's inevitable that people who are looking for love might want to try and find it with someone other than those they would be able to choose in their own country.

Today's Chinese women aren't the submissive, easy going women that many men think they are. As a matter of fact one of the reasons that Chinese women are looking at western men for husbands is because the age old tradition of wealthy Chinese men taking mistresses. Today's Chinese woman is sick of the practice and doesn't want to put up with it anymore.

If you really want to make a good impression when you start meeting women online, you should do your homework. Try to acquaint yourself with Chinese customs and traditions. It would even be nice if you learned a little Chinese, your pronunciation may be a little off but she'll appreciate the fact that you took the time and made the effort.

One really great way for the two of you to get to know each other and bond is by teaching each other how to speak your language. You can teach her to speak English and she can teach you to speak Chinese.

A little fore thought as to what will happen if you meet someone really special is a good idea too. Do you want to get married? How will you pay for her to come over to the U.S., or will you go to her?  Can you get the  time off of work, what paperwork do you need, how long will it take, etc.? These are all questions that you should be giving some thought to now, before you actually meet your dream woman.

Chinese woman tend to like men that are assertive, strong and take charge as long as they are considerate as well. They don't like the big loud mouth blow hard, they prefer strong, quiet men (think talk softly but carry a big stick, kind of guy).  They prefer a man who is well educated, well groomed, and well off.

That may sound crude but Chinese woman who are looking for a husband want to find a man who can take care of them. That's the deal, they will love you and take good care of you as long as you provide for them and any children you may have. It's a very traditional model and one that suits many people.

If this isn't something you're interested in  you're better off trying to date other types of women and forget about finding a Chinese woman. For the most part, if all you want is a quick fling, you won't find it with a Chinese woman. They are far more traditional and looking at the long term prospects of the relationship, which is why so many like to date beautiful Chinese women in the first place.

Chinese Women Relationships Can Be Different

If you want to meet and date Chinese women do yourself a favor and do a little research first. It's best to learn something about their culture and their traditions. It can't hurt to learn some of their language too. All of this will help you insure that your relationship is successful.

This is particularly important if you are looking for marriage. It will go a long way to impress your prospective bride if you are somewhat knowledgeable about her country and language.

Also give serious thought to what you want in a relationship once you meet your dream lady. Most Chinese are quite proper and it's not very feasible that you'll find one who'll agree to a casual affair. If that's what you're looking for you'll probably have better luck finding some American/ Chinese woman who isn't as traditional as someone who was born and raised in China.

There are several things that Chinese woman respond to. They like men who are well educated. Having a good education is a sign of status in China and most women will respond very favorably to this.

Another thing that you must have is good personal grooming and hygiene. The bad boy, scruffy look might work on some western women but it won't work on Asian women. Think about it for a minute. When was the last time you saw a fat or unkempt Chinese man, or woman? I honestly don't think I've ever seen either one. There is a reason for that.

Chinese culture is very grounded in tradition and appearances. In their culture you don't want to do anything that can dishonor the family, if you run around looking like a slob it is showing a lack of respect to your family. If you have what could diplomatically be called a 'casual' style you may need to rethink that if you are serious about meeting a Chinese woman to date.

Being the type of man who isn't afraid to ask for what he wants is another attribute that a Chinese woman will respond well to. Be strong, confidant and assertive but make sure that you never cross over to being loud, brash and obnoxious. Showing a lot of emotion in public is considered poor manners so be strong, but don't be pushy.

Being financially secure is another important factor. When a Chinese woman is ready to marry she has been raised to find a man that can support her. It's a very traditional set up. She will care for the home, children and her man and he will support her and treat her with love and respect. Not really very different from what Americans have done for decades, though it's changed recently.

Don't be surprised or offended if your would be bride asks pointed questions about your financial situation, this is jut the way she was brought up to think about her future. It doesn't make her greedy or cold. This is one of many cultural misunderstandings that can be avoided if you take the time to learn a little about the culture and traditions before you start dating Chinese women
